Woolbro Group is a family-owned business specialising in residential development and commercial investment.
As a third-generation family-owned business, we are in tune with our industry’s rapid pace of change and we are driven by a desire to make a positive difference to the people, partners and communities we serve, with three clear areas of focus.
A PROUD HISTORY
Founded in 1935 by Eric and Sydney Woolman, we started as a commercial investment company in Yorkshire.
Our journey into property development began with an approach built on integrity, trust and a commitment to excellence.
Now led by brothers Ben and David Woolman, we are proud to continue that legacy, while adapting to the trends of tomorrow.
PUTTING HOMEOWNERS FIRST
Woolbro Homes prides itself on its personal, collaborative and thoughtful approach to residential development, which puts the needs of the homeowner first while delivering beautifully designed, high spec homes.
Our support for shared ownership and affordable housing helps address growing UK housing needs, and we are proud to enjoy close working relationships with private and public sector partners.
Eric and Sydney Woolman
While much has changed since those early days, our core values remain the same.
People are at the heart of everything we do. We listen, we collaborate and we work in an open, accessible way to build genuine relationships with homeowners, occupiers and investors.
“I get a massive sense of fulfilment from seeing through projects from beginning to end, and seeing how the areas we operate in change over the years, as development acts as a catalyst to positive urban regeneration. We’re creating a legacy to be proud of”.
Born and raised in Yorkshire before moving to London, Ben took over the family business in 2013, having gained experience at Tesco and Savills.
“We’re proud to deliver the highest quality new and affordable homes and to have a positive impact on life in local communities”.
David qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2013, before moving to London and joining Ben in the continued growth of Woolbro Homes. He previously worked for a leading UK property investment and development company in Leeds, and holds a Master’s in Real Estate Management.
